| Grapefruit Seed Extract- Kills Strep bacteria. When we have even an inkling of a sore throat we gargle with this right away. A great mouth rinse for sore & infected gums. Also apply full strength to canker sores. (not to be confused with Grape Seed) For a Sore Throat We use 2-3 drops grapefruit seed extract in about a 1/2 cup warm water and gargle with it. We do this about 3-4 times a day for as many days as necessary. Usually we don't need to do this for more than 2 days, sometimes only one. URINARY TRACT INFECTIONS A tea made of whole celery seed used two to four times a day will clear up a urinary tract infection in a day or two if used reasonably early. People I know can green corn silk each summer to use for the infection. I don"t know if they drink the canned juice or make a tea with it, but they swear by it. Burns With a teaspoon, scrape a raw potato (no need to peel, just halve it ) and apply it to the burn. Leave it on until it turns brownish in color. This does not take very long at all to turn. The potato draws the burn out and usually there is not even blister left. Intestinal Gas Relief Slice 1 inch fresh ginger into 2 cups fresh water, ( do not use water that's already been boiled). Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on how spicy you like it. Add milk and honey, 2. 6 cups water, 2" sliced fresh ginger, 12 whole cardamom seeds, 10 whole cloves, 4 cinnamon sticks,10 whole peppercorns. Simmer for 20 minutes at least. I like to let it sit to cool, then leave it in the fridge to heat up or drink cold. Just add honey when hot, or not! It seems surreal, but true. How can one chemical create such chaos? Aspartame dissolves into solution and can therefore travel throughout the body and deposit within any tissue. The body digests aspartame unlike saccharin, which does not break down within humans. The multitude of aspartame side effects are indicative to your genetic individuality and physical weaknesses. It is important to put two and two together, nonetheless, and identify which side effects aspartame is creating within you. Over the past 20 years, humans have become more aware of PKU reactions because human beings began using isolated phenylalanine to the degree it is harmful to some individuals, many as aspartame side effects. My suggestion would be to research PKU and phenylalanine extensively. Phenylalanine can be very harmful to diabetics. Read all food labels and avoid anything with isolated amino acids. If you are PKU (Phenylketonuric) or sensitive to phenylalanine, you will react to the phenylalanine in aspartame. You many want to get a blood test to check for this condition. Over the past 20 years, humans have become more aware of PKU reactions because human beings began using isolated phenylalanine to the degree it is harmful to some individuals, many as aspartame side effects.
